Expand Missing Middle Housing

We’ll follow our housing study recommendations by welcoming more duplexes, townhomes, and small multi-family buildings in areas where they make sense. This “missing middle” approach creates gentle density that fits our neighborhoods while expanding housing choices for residents at different life stages.

Remove Barriers Through Collaboration

A new Housing Action Team will bring together community development, council members, builders, lenders, and nonprofit organizations to identify what’s blocking housing development and solve those problems together. Real solutions come from the people who understand the challenges firsthand.

Create a Senior Center Through Partnership

Our older residents deserve a vibrant place to connect, stay active, and build community. By partnering with nonprofits, neighboring communities, health systems, and local employers, we can create a senior center that serves this need without placing the entire financial burden on city taxpayers.
