I’m running for mayor because I am a servant leader at my core. My professional and personal experience with the city and school district makes me the ideal candidate for mayor. Serving as an alderperson and city council president have shown me the importance of listening to residents, asking hard questions, and explaining decisions clearly. I want to bring a steady, collaborative approach to the mayor’s office, ensuring financial responsibility and open communication. I will preserve our welcoming, thriving community so the next generation of families and businesses will choose Neenah.

My top priorities are fiscal responsibility, public safety, transparency, and open, two-way communication with residents. Neenah should take good care of the streets, utilities, parks, and public facilities we already own. All while planning smart, balanced growth that fits our character and tax base. We need to leverage key relationships and technology to make this happen. I want people to understand where their tax dollars go. Neenah has a rich history; my aim is to celebrate that history while looking to the future, where people want to live, work, and visit Neenah for the next hundred years.
Streets and Safety
First, we have to take care of the basics: streets, safety, and neighborhoods. That means a clear three-year plan for streets and sidewalks that everyone can see, clean, safe parks and public spaces, and an easy way to find information on your phone and see what is happening in your community.
Neenah Online
Second, we need to respect taxpayers. That’s why I support a modern ‘Neenah Online’ website where you can pay bills, see garbage and snow info, check road projects, register for programming, and be notified about things that matter to you in the city. Additionally, I want simple tools like a Budget in Brief and basic dashboards so you can see where your money is going without digging through hundreds of pages.
Neenah Housing and Growth
Third, we have to grow Neenah smart. That means more housing options for young families, workers, and seniors, focusing new investment on downtown, North and South Commercial, and the Island, and continuing to make Arrowhead Park a reality through strong partnerships instead of putting it all on the tax bill.
Parks
Finally, our parks and waterfront are Neenah’s calling card. A Friends of Neenah Parks group can help bring in donations and volunteers so we keep those places beautiful and well-maintained while easing long-term pressure on the levy.
