Brian Borchardt
Some of you may know me as a teacher, a friend, or an alderman. In case you don’t know me, here’s some information about what I’ve been doing in Neenah over the past 30 years.
I was born and raised in Milwaukee. After graduating from UW-Oshkosh, I moved to Neenah and haven’t left since. Neenah is where I married my wife and raised our kids. Neenah is a special community with deep history and a bright future, and I want to serve this beloved city as mayor.

My Story
I am a 30-year Neenah resident. I started my career in business and later moved into education. I’ve taught in the Neenah Joint School District for 16 years. I hold degrees in communication and education, and a master’s in educational leadership and administration. I’ve served as an alderperson since 2020, city council president since 2022, and gained city experience via committees for Finance & Personnel, Public Safety & Services, Parks & Recreation, and Neenah-Menasha Fire & Rescue Joint Finance & Personnel. Additionally, I’ve served as a director on the Verve Credit Union board since 2014 and have volunteered for decades with the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade.
